What's Happening with Engage?


Engage officially launched for Early Adopters on Thursday, March 19!  SCORE HQ has been responding to questions and feedback raised by volunteers who are live in the system.  The Engage team hosted a live help desk and support session on Friday, March 20, and Tuesday, March 24, to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and communicate any changes in the system.  

We are continuing to add to our training and support materials as well as resources available on the Support Center ahead of future waves, ensuring that their transition is as smooth as possible.

Early Adopters

Chapters in the Early Adopters Wave officially went live in Engage on Thursday, March 19!  Volunteers have been steadily working in the system and providing feedback to SCORE HQ via email and the live support sessions.

Wave 1 Chapters

Chapters in Wave 1 had their Engage Kick-Off Sessions on March 17 and 19.   During these sessions the Engage team reviewed the launch process, new system, and training resources available.  Volunteers then had the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A session with the Engage team.

Wave 1 Chapters are also continuing to work through the Readiness Checklist.  As a reminder, for chapters going live in May, their Readiness Checklist must be completed by Tuesday, March 31.
Monthly Engage Resource(s) 

Each month we will highlight a resource (or multiple) that will assist chapters in their preparation for Engage.  Please take some time to review the highlighted resource each month and reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.

For March, there are two resources that we want to highlight:
  1. SCORE Engage Constituent Journey Descriptions - this article provides a brief overview (including related tasks) of the three constituent Journeys in Engage - Volunteer, Client Mentoring, and Event.  These Journeys cover the processes and the flow of information through the Engage system which represent the core of SCORE's business.
  2. SCORE Engage Training Articles - these articles provide the How To's of Engage within each constituent Journey - Volunteer, Client Mentoring, and Event.  These articles should be the first stop for volunteers with questions about how to complete a task in Engage.
