The Volunteer Survey kicked off Tuesday, March 12th. All volunteers that were active or provisional as of February 6th should receive a survey invite from PWC. The survey invite will come from  pwcsurveysurrport@us.pwc.com  and will have a subject line of "Take the SCORE Vounteer Engagement Survey!"

The survey will be open until early April. Invites will be sent each week to volunteers that have not completed the survey.

2018 Impact Handouts - National, State, Chapter

The impact sheets are complete and have been posted in a NEW spot this year, the  CORE Reports page.

You can find these by going to the top line of the reports page. Below is a screen shot to help you find where they are linked.

The impact handouts are the best fundraising tool you will have. Please use these whenever possible.

SCORE Engage: Change Management Survey

We realize that adopting SCORE Engage will be a big change for chapters. In an effort to help make this transition as smooth as possible, we created a Change Management Task Force. At this point, we would like to gather some feedback from SCORE leaders.

Your input is a critical component of this process. Please complete this  brief survey by  Friday, April 12.  This survey asks you to:
  1. Identify a point person for SCORE Engage for your chapter
  2. Tell us which preferred roll out wave you want your chapter to be a part of
  3. Help us better gauge your chapter's activity and comfort level with technology and identify potential issues with adopting SCORE Engage.

Website Update: Changes to the Mentor Search and More!

Another round of improvements will be available on the SCORE national and chapter websites on Wednesday, March 20. The most notable changes include improvements to the mentor search and a new mentor wizard.

We are improving the appearance and function for the mentor search that is available on score.org/find-mentor and the equivalent page on chapter websites. These changes are being made in response to feedback from SCORE volunteers and clients.
The improved mentor search simplifies and streamlines choices for end users by displaying mentor search results in a single column. It also shifts the search filters to the left of the screen and allows clients to apply multiple filters at once to find mentors online or locally. Lastly, unavailable mentors are no longer visible in the search, which improves the experience for clients seeking mentors that are ready to help them now.

The new mentoring request wizard will walk clients through the questions on the mentoring request form to help them drill down to their ideal mentor based on their communication preferences and business needs. At the end of the wizard, clients will receive 3 recommended mentors based on their responses. They will also have the ability to browse other matching mentors if needed. The goal of the wizard is to help clients find their ideal mentor faster and simplify their choices.

Learn more about the new wizard and improved mentor search  here and other website changes  here. And if you're a new webmaster, visit  help.score.org to view the webmaster guide and training videos to learn how to make changes to your local website.

VistaPrint Update

We are experiencing technical difficulties with the SCORE Vistaprint Portal. Due to these issues, we advise you not to order business cards from the portal at this time. While we work diligently to find a solution, we recommend that you use the Word version of the 2019 SCORE business card templates provided below. The Word templates are highly customizable and easy to use. If you prefer, you can swap out the standard SCORE logo and replace it with your local chapter logo instead. You can find and download your chapter logo by  clicking here

Please note: You will have to re-size your chapter logo to fit the business card template. After completing your template, simply send the document over to your local or preferred vendor for professional printing.
