Brian Fisher, SCORE Los Angeles
|
|
SCORE HQ and the Los Angeles Chapter would like to recognize Brian Fisher and highlight the many ways in which he can help clients. Check out the below write-up on Brian from the leadership of the Los Angeles District:
"A self-proclaimed business enthusiast, Brian Fisher adds passion to his role as a SCORE Mentor from Santa Clarita for the Los Angeles Chapter. “I’ve been there, done that” he explains on his podcast series which he started after running and selling a successful Industrial Automation Distributorship for 34 years.
Brian bestows his business wisdom in many ways. He is the CEO/President of a consultant company providing expertise in management, sales, and operations to a range of clients from C-level executives to entrepreneurial start ups. On his podcast, BCF ORG “The Business of Business” which is released twice a month, he discusses over 100 business topics to help run a successful business. Available on 20+ channels by searching BCF ORG, the show is delivered in brief 10 minutes nuggets and provides excellent advice for anyone in business. “I have the ability to articulate complex subject matter in a clear and concise way” he points out. Some of Brian’s skills come from his years as a professional engineer, his management and sales experience and his training from the Harvard Business School, OPM program that helped him navigate the challenges of his own business.
For SCORE, Brian can assist clients in analyzing their financial position, and their business’ operational and competitive landscape. His guidance makes a huge difference for both struggling businesses and start-ups. Brian can assist clients with business planning, sales, marketing, negotiations, technology, product development and so much more. In fact, with Brian as a mentor SCORE clients can get practically any business advice they need. Brian delivers on his motto “Helping you Run a Successful Profitable Business” and that says it all!"

New Monthly Spanish-Language Email Draft Available Now
|
As part of SCORE for All for Hispanic Entrepreneurs and at the request of the Hispanic Committee, we will now provide a Spanish BizSuccessTips newsletter in all chapter Constant Contact accounts on a monthly basis. This newsletter will share Spanish-language events hosted by chapters across the country as well as new Spanish content that is published to SCORE.org. It is completely optional for your chapter to send this newsletter to local subscribers.
Every month, the marketing team will pull the upcoming Spanish webinars from the website to include in this newsletter that will be available in your chapter’s Constant Contact account on the 3rd week of every month. Like the English BizSuccessTips draft, you can send this email as-is or you can customize it with your local Spanish content. We encourage you to segment your list and send this new draft to your Spanish-speaking subscribers. If you have questions about how to customize the newsletter or how to segment your list, email [email protected].

Top Resources on SCORE.org
|
Knowing what the most frequently viewed workshops and resources are on the national site can help you better understand what topics and content business owners are looking for. Your chapter can then take this data and use it to create localized resources around those topics to increase your chapter's website traffic and workshop attendance.
