SCPS Student Named 2nd in the United States for Technology Research

SCPS student Moitri Santra attended Broadcom MASTERS, a national science and engineering fair, as one of the Top 30 middle school researchers in the country.

Happy Thanksgiving! - Giving Back to the Community

This past Saturday, Superintendent Beamon, along with school board members Amy Pennock and Tina Calderone, joined members of the SCPS team to hand out 700 Thanksgiving meals for our community. This drive-through event was made possible by partnerships with the United Way, wonderful sponsors and the diligent planning and passion for serving others from Community Involvement Manager Misa Mills, as well as the entire Families in Need (FIN) team and district social workers at SCPS. Special thanks to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office for helping to keep traffic running smoothly during the event.
