We’re shining the spotlight on SealCath, a medical device company, founded by Cephus Simmons, PhD, a radiologist assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina. SealCath produces a unique double balloon catheter that achieves an optimal seal with the capability to improve the efficacy of procedures. “His invention improves radiologists' ability to evaluate post-surgical patients with more precision, allowing for the early detection of complications and thus leads to faster patient recovery. SCRA Announces Investment in Software Startup, GoBeep
SCRA announces its affiliate, SC Launch, Inc.’s, investment of $200,000 in GoBeep, Inc., a Greenville-based software company.
GoBeep became an SC Launch Member Company in 2019 and successfully progressed through the program, receiving a $50,000 Acceleration Grant, and eventually becoming an SC Launch, Inc. Portfolio Company by receiving this investment.Read more.
