SCRA Announces August and September Accepted and Funded Companies
The SCRA announces Okra Medical as a new Client Company and Foresight Data Systems as being approved for grant funding. Okra Medical is a Johns Island-based company provides a safe, easy-to-use, and cost-effective solution to destroy highly addictive substances, such as opioids. Foresight Data Systems, an existing Client Company, has been approved to receive a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Columbia-based company is developing a new, layman’s technique for computer programming. Read more.

Two SCRA Companies Selected to Participate in the Venture Atlanta Conference
6am City, an SC Launch Portfolio Company, has been chosen as a Venture Atlanta 2020 Early Stage Company and Email Industries, an SC Launch Client Company, has been selected as a Venture Atlanta 2020 Showcase Company.
