SCRA Co-Sponsors Entrepreneurship Webinar for HBCU Students
SCRA is a proud co-sponsor of the Center for Connected Multimodal Mobility's (C2M2) panel discussion hosted by Dr. Mashrur Ahmed of Clemson University, on Wednesday, November 3 at 2:00pm. This “Path to Entrepreneurship for HBCU Students” webinar will feature a welcome from Shelby M. Scales, Director of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization and t.Talks from Hebrew Dixon III, Mid South Atlantic Region, Small Business Transportation Resource Center, Eric Saint-Marc, ThinkAhead, and Matt Bell, SC Launch Director. Annual InnoVision Awards Celebration Announced
InnoVision Awards will recognize the 2021 award winners at its annual InnoVision Awards Celebration. After a rigorous independent judging process and a month of Meet the Finalists virtual receptions, InnoVision is ready to reveal the winners! Hartness Development Announces Crescent Startup Community
Hartness Development announced on Wednesday Oct. 27, 2021, that it is creating Crescent Startup Community, an innovation district in partnership with Flywheel, Furman University, South Carolina Research Authority, and the investment company VentureSouth.

The new project, which Hartness officials say is the first innovation district in the Upstate, is designed to foster and support entrepreneurs and startup companies. Read more.
