NEXT Venture Pitch 2020 – Pitch Semifinalist Companies Announced
NEXT Venture Pitch 2020 announced the companies that have reached the semifinals. SC Launch Client Companies Agulus, Inc., Custom Donations, and Mailprotector, as well as Portfolio Companies, 6AM City, Hank AI, Inc., Hook Security, Modjoul, and Zylö Therapeutics Inc. have reached the Next Venture Pitch semifinals. These companies will pitch for funding and compete for one of two finalist spots on Day 3 where they’ll go head-to-head to prove why they deserve a showcase spot at Venture Atlanta in October. CommunityWorks Opens Women's Business Center in Greenville
As one of seven new women’s business centers across the country, CommunityWorks opened its doors for the first time in Greenville. National and local business leaders gathered on Sept. 4 onsite to celebrate the state’s female entrepreneurs. The center, housed in CommunityWorks, will assist business owners with consulting and coaching services, seminars and networking opportunities, especially the unique additional hurdles women entrepreneurs face, according to Ana Parra, the center’s director.
