June 2022 Newsletter
President's Message
Greetings, fellow Scarborough residents. Welcome to the summer of 2022 … which is looking a lot more like the summer of 2019!  Our world is gradually returning to a pre‐COVID normal, which provides us all with a wonderful opportunity to experience all that Scarborough has to offer this summer.
Toronto Zoo Update
Hi folks! It has been great to welcome back the incredibly warm weather and our incredible Zoo guests! It really is a great reminder of what a difference a year can make, with last year’s COVID-19 closures resulting in us not being able to host you until June. Thanks to the diligence of our Veterinary staff and Wildlife Care teams, we have vaccinated our highly COVID-susceptible animals and are excited to be operating in full swing. I look forward to welcoming all of you to join us for some amazing interactive summer programming including our new Wild Encounters tours, Splash Island, and our Gorilla Climb Ropes Course!
