Political Update:

We are proud of the achievements of our Republican candidates, their outstanding efforts, the support of volunteers and donors, and the confidence expressed by voters. Heartfelt congratulations are extended to the 68 candidates, out of the 113 endorsed Republicans, who secured victory on November 7.

As we look ahead to 2024, Republicans have a significant opportunity to challenge incumbents, including Joe Biden, Senator Sherrod Brown, Congresswoman Emilia Sykes, and Democrats holding countywide seats. The filing deadline for the 2024 Republican Primary is 4:00 p.m. on December 20, 2023.

2024 presidential, senate, and congressional campaigns are seeking delegates, local staff, volunteers, and more. If you wish to get involved, please email Executive Director Cierra Shehorn at cierra@summitcountygop.org. Your information will be kept on file, and we will connect you with campaigns seeking local, committed Republicans.

SCRP Christmas Party

We invite you to celebrate the holidays with us at our annual Christmas Party at the Portage Country Club on Friday, December 15, at 5:30 p.m. Let's get together to toast to the holiday season while we prepare to move into the next election cycle in 2024.

Enjoy Christmas carols and other festive tunes as two talented piano players duel for your approval! This year's party will feature an open bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Additionally, we have several raffle items this year, including a Springfield Hellcat 9mm Pistol and Ammo ($700 value), Limited Edition SCRP Red Yeti Cooler ($250 Value), and a gift card for luxurious pampering at ReLux Medical Spa ($250 value).
