District Shoot 

The training & skeet shoot for Districts 3 & 4 was held Friday, May 10 at Rocky Knoll Sporting Clays in Abbeville.

FUNDING

RIA Approves Grants for Enhancing Water, Sewer and Stormwater Infrastructure

RIA  has approved grant assistance for 26 communities, totaling more than $12 million, to strengthen water, sewer and storm water infrastructure. This brings the number of projects awarded to 54 in Fiscal Year 2019, totaling $25.7 million.  To learn more, click  hereRural Infrastructure Authority approves grants for enhancing water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure.

Risk Assessment and Emergency Response Plan Training

EPA's Water Security Division will be hosting overview webinars and detailed in-person/web accessible training on the new risk assessment and emergency response plan requirement and tools.

The webinar will provide participants with a quick introduction to the updated Vulnerability Self-Assessment Tool and Emergency Response Plan Guidance. Click here  to learn more and register for the Webinar.

In-Person Training

This is a one-day training with a detailed review of the new requirements and thorough discussion on the application of the Vulnerability Self-Assessment Tool and Emergency Response Plan Guidance. There is limited space available for attendance. Preference is given to water utilities, state and tribal primacy agency representatives, technical assistance providers and circuit riders. Each training will also be available via webinar.
