Schoolwide Information for Parents:

We talked about why building community and connection are important for children and us, as well as how we build them. Signups were available for Special Lunch, Tots Playgroup, Room Representatives, and the new Monday morning group, "Live a better story." We also went over some important parking information and other reminders. Parent Handbook is required reading for all SCS parents.

Room Representatives Needed!

Room representatives help with a variety of things:

Arrange birthday treat for teachers
Communicate with class families about events, opportunities to help, and needs of the teachers
Plan lunch for one teacher work day per age level
Contribute ideas for our special events or other school activities

Tired of packing lunches?

On Thursdays, Ms. Andrea makes a kid-friendly lunch that hits all the food groups. All you have to send is a water bottle!

Cost is $200 for the year (can be paid in 2 installments).

Welcome, Ms. Edith!

Ms. Edith Arenas-Rivera has joined our staff as the teachers for extended care (what we call Butterfly Bunch)! Ms. Edith loves to read, play, sing and dance with the children, and she loves to laugh!

We have room for a few more children, and they can stay till 3, 4 or 5 pm on weekdays - choose the number of days you want your child to stay each week!
