Monday COVID Roundup: 211 New SCV Cases; Two Additional Deaths
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health confirmed Monday two new deaths and 211 new cases in the Santa Clarita Valley over the weekend, with a total of 25 deaths and 7,924 new cases countywide.
An art exhibit entitled “Out of LA” will showcase rural landscapes, horses, wild animals, people and unusual perspectives of plants or animals at the Agua Dulce Women’s Club.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will conduct a traffic safety operation Tuesday, from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., that will focus on the most dangerous driver behaviors that put the safety of people biking or walking at risk.

I am deeply concerned with the state of our juvenile justice system in Los Angeles County. There have been four different cases of violence in our juvenile halls in the past month, which have impacted both youth and staff members.
SCVTV operates the Santa Clarita Valley community's Media Center, where staff and volunteers generate original, hyper-local content for the channel.
SCVTV is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that serves all other local nonprofits in the community, and the place where film and television students get their first exposure to an industry that is a backbone of the Santa Clarita Valley economy.
