COVID-19 Special Update
SCV Water has been monitoring developments with COVID-19 (2019 Novel Coronavirus). We recognize this is a challenging time for all, and we remain deeply committed to the safety of our customers, employees and the community. The Agency closely follows the recommendations made by our state and county health department, as well as guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Your Water Supply
The coronavirus has no impact on the quality
or supply of your tap water.

SCV Water uses advanced treatment processes to eliminate pathogens, which includes viruses. As always, your tap water is both available, plentiful and safe. While it’s always advisable to stock bottled water at home in case of emergencies that disrupt the water supply, SCV Water does not expect this health outbreak to disrupt service to our customers.

Customer Care Updates
Public lobbies closed through April 3.
Late fees and shut-offs suspended through June 30.

SCV Water is committed to caring for the health and well-being of our customers, communities and employees, and to reducing the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. While we are currently maintaining regular office hours, public lobbies are now closed to public access through
April 3.

In addition, there will be no service shut-offs or late fees through
June 30 , to protect our residents who are struggling due to loss of income during this challenging public health crisis.

We encourage our customers to use online and telephone payment options to pay your water bill. There are also external drop-boxes available at each Customer Care location, available 24/7.

SCV Water has cancelled the following upcoming events.

Gardening class offerings in March and April :

  • March 19 and 21
  • April 9 and 11

Public Meeting Information

In an effort to protect the Directors, members of the public and staff from the spread of the Coronavirus, all Board and Committee meetings will be held via teleconference until otherwise noted. Governor Gavin Newsom recently issued an executive order that allows Board and Committee meetings to be held via teleconference, without otherwise complying with some teleconferencing requirements of the Brown Act related to physical access and posting at off-site locations.

Any member of the public wishing to make any comments to the Board or Committee may still do so in person, but we strongly encourage you to call in to participate. Each agenda includes a call-in number and instructions for remote participation.
