Marcia Kling 

Scenic City Women's Network has chosen Marcia Kling to receive its first Lydia Impact Award that honors extraordinary Christian working women. She was chosen as someone who has exhibited a life-time of mature Christian faith, enthusiasm for life, positively impacting lives and making a difference in the world around her, as well as being an encourager to other Christian working women.

The Lydia-Impact Award will be presented at the 9th Annual Praise Breakfast on June 27, 2013. 

Known through her television career as Miss Marcia. Ms Kling recently retired from channel WTVC after 51 years. She and her husband, David, are well-known for their efforts in the community with various non-profit organizations. Miss Marcia has used both platforms to live her Christian faith and positively impact the lives of many others.

SCWN wanted to select a woman who exemplifies what it is to be a true Christian Working Woman. Our selection of Marcia Kling was quick and unanimous. We could not be more excited to show her how much she means to Scenic City Women's Network and to the women of Chattanooga.

 Mary Whelchel  

The 9^th Annual Praise Breakfast event will be held from 7 to 9 AM on June 27, 2013, at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Guest speaker Mary Whelchel, will be  Speaking to the Hearts of Women in the Workplace.  Her presentation is entitled: Keeping Your Heart and Soul at Work: Lessons from the Life of Daniel. Mary Whelchel is from  Chicago. Her ministry is known as The Christian Working Woman and hosts a daily radio show broadcast on Moody Radio. ( WMBW 88.9 FM in Chattanooga)

Mary Whelchel will be introduced by SCWN's friend in ministry Kay Arthur.  Kay and Mary are longtime friends and colleagues in Christian ministry.

In 2009, "celebrating life through song" Tekelia launched TekeliaKelly.com and Precious Memories, offering her professional singing, songwriting, and presentation design services for special events and occasions. Tekelia C. Kelly is a Business and Information Technology Consultant, with over 15 years experience in Corporate Business.  Her professional training includes a Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering Technology, and Masters-level coursework in Instructional Design and Technology.  Tekelia Kelly Enterprises consist of Sisters In Business. Net (SIB), CHIPS Learning Services, AYES Youth In Business, and parent company FYI (For Your Information), an Education & Information Technology Solutions firm.
