Sam the Cooking Guy
Sam Zien is an everyday guy who has found a way to make cooking casually understandable. With no fancy equipment and by speaking English instead of 'chef-speak', he's just a regular guy, using regular words showing how to cook easy, great food. But did you know that Sam used to be a Facility Manager before he launched his cooking show, became a published author of multiple cook books and won a mere 14 Emmys.

Tay Academy Needs Gently Used Business Attire
| |  IFMA San Diego's Community Service Committee is collecting business attire for SDYS's TAY Academy for the young people going on interviews. Clean out your closet ... Gentlemen, that suit or sports coat you haven't worn in 5 years, and Ladies, the dress that you no longer like will help a young person "dress for success" at their next interview. Dress shoes, belts, purses and appropriate jewelry can also be used. All sizes are needed. How can you help? Give us your clean, gently used office attire! We will be collecting these items at upcoming February and March Luncheons. Watch for upcoming details in future newsletters. |

Here's your chance to roll up your sleeves and get involved IFMA San Diego. The chapter is looking for a few people to get involved in the following areas.
Hospitality/Events Committee
This committee is looking for a person to take on the position of Meeting Venue Coordinator. The Coordinator helps to secure luncheon locations and negotiate the contracts with the venue. This individual also must be on site the date of the event to help troubleshoot and address any issues that might arise. REQUIRED to attend all IFMA breakfasts and luncheons, and participate as an active liaison to the education committee.
