The Membership Committee is excited to announce the 2015 Professional Member Campaign! We have a goal of inviting 50 new professional members to join IFMA SD by November 30, 2015!
We are asking each existing member to invite new potential facility managers to an IFMA SD luncheon during the promotional period. You will receive recognition at each luncheon you bring a new potential facility manager to!
For every facility manager you bring, you will receive a ticket for a prize drawing! For every facility manager you sponsor and joins IFMA SD you will receive a second ticket for a bigger prize drawing! The drawing winners will be announced at the December Holiday Social!

IFMA's World Workplace is a hands-on, interactive learning and networking event for professionals who support all aspects of the work environment. Together, we find solutions to common facility challenges. Together, we set trends in creating and sustaining livable, lucrative, leading-edge spaces. We Collaborate to Innovate, creating opportunities for ourselves, our profession, our employers and our world.
IFMA San Diego is offering five grants to chapter members to attend this event. If you would like to apply for a grant, please complete the application (which can be obtain the
grant application at the
FORMS DEPOT).

Take a Tour with SDG&E

SDG&E is pleased to announce its 2
nd annual Energy Champions Field Trip. This exciting excursion is made available to collaborating business trade associations with SDG&E. This year's site is an Energy Showcase Champion. To learn more about recognized companies for their energy saving excellence, click

Last year, sustainability and facility management individuals had the unique opportunity to visit the
AT&T site in the Miramar area getting a personalized, first-hand look of all their technological advancements that increased efficiency while simultaneously and dramatically reducing energy costs.
This year, the tour includes visiting
Ilumina. They were the 2015 Energy Showcase champions in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industry category. Additionally, there will be a rare opportunity to tour of the
Palomar Power Plant in Escondido. Seating is very limited.

The following are the quick facts about the tour:
- When: Friday, September 25, 2015
- Transportation: Chartered bus service
- Time: Arrive at 7:45am sharp and depart immediately at 8:00am from SDG&E's Energy Innovation Center
- Return: Approximately 12 noon
- Refreshments: Lunch reception 12-1 at the conclusion of the tour (Energy Innovation Center)
- Availability: Approximately 25 spots are available on a first-come-first serve basis.
- Deadline: Please respond by Thursday, September 10, 2015
