The Association of Climate Change Officers (ACCO) is offering a series of 2-day training academies in San Diego to enable attendees to satisfy all course requirements for the Climate Governance Certificate, a credential issued through ACCO's CCO CertificationTM Program. These academies will provide curriculum on topics including understanding climate science and variability, identifying climate hazards and conducting vulnerability assessments, basics of greenhouse gas accounting, explanations of the food-waterenergy nexus, and fundamental governance and stakeholder engagement strategies.

The EPA's ENERGY STAR program is IFMA's standardized benchmarking tool for measuring energy performance. Our members have been using this metric to track building and facility performance related to emissions, water, and energy use (including utility costs) over the past five years. More than thirty countries have mandated energy rating policies for their buildings with ENERGY STAR, also adopted by nine states and twenty metropolitan areas in the US.   Learn more....
