"In early June,
the world of leaf and blade and flower explodes, and every sunset is different."
John Steinbeck
Dear Southern Door Community,

We hope that your summer is off to a good start. While the kids were on their first days of vacation, our staff were busy last week in professional development and preparing for the 2021-22 school year.

Periodically, until I retire at the end of June, I will provide Open Door updates. This week we have lots of celebrations regarding the accomplishments of our students. Spring sports teams are entering their playoff competitions so we look forward to cheering our Eagles on in their continued success.

May the summer continue to bring you and your family a bit more relaxed pace, some time to enjoy each other, and to explore the many wonderful activities that summer offers!

Yours in Education,
Patti
