Placements

Ensemble placements, tuition assistance notifications, reopening plans, and necessary safety precautions for the 2020-2021 season have already gone out .

If you did not receive your placement email, please log onto https://myinfo.sdys.org/ and check your spam folder. If you still cannot find it, please email conservatory@sdys.org immediately. If you decide not to accept the offer of placement, please email the conservatory team indicating your decision. Placement decisions are final and cannot be changed.

COVID-19 Update

The SDYS office in Balboa Park's Casa del Prado will re-open to receive cash or check tuition payments. The office will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 12pm to 4pm, during the entire month of July. The SDYS office will remain closed on all other days of the week and staff will continue to work from home.

Masks are required to make a payment in person at the SDYS office. Please follow appropriate signage when you arrive.

We are continuing to evaluate this fluid situation and will contact you regarding program updates. Please visit sdys.org/COVID-19 for any new information.

August Auditions for NEW Students

Even though registration for the 2020-2021 season has closed for all returning students, registration is still open for students who are NEW to SDYS, now through July 23.

YOLA National at Home

YOLA National at Home offers courses, content, and project-based learning opportunities for youth and adults alike. Students, educators, artists, and in some cases, all music lovers, will find relevancy in these curated broadcast and interactive experiences held over Zoom and YouTube Live.

Vanderbilt Virtual Visit Opportunities

In lieu of in-person campus visits, Vanderbilt welcomes you to register for a Virtual Blair School of Music Information Session. These sessions will provide the same comprehensive Info Session material that would be presented during a Blair Tour, and will be led by one of our Blair Admissions representatives.
