In the AACE software, the spike recovery can be calculated by the software for manually spiked samples. Different samples can also have different spikes added, if necessary.
The software will read the sample concentration and then the spike sample that followed immediately after it. It will take the difference and compare to what concentration was added. Then it will show the recovery calculated in the report.
