MONTHLY TROUBLESHOOTING TIP
Matrix matching between standards, samples, diluent (sampler wash), and quality control (QCs) is vital for most colorimetric chemistry testing. Different pH or salinity between the samples and standards can result in incorrect readings. It is recommended to matrix match to improve results.
SOFTWARE FEATURE: Import Samples into SEAL BOD Minilab Software
Importing sample information from a previously saved file can improve efficiency, decrease mistakes, and increase the ease of use of the software. In the BOD Minilab software, a template for importing sample information, such as sample ID, sample volume, seed fill volume, ATU fill volume, and comments, can be created.

In the setup, the sampling information to be imported can be selected, while ignoring columns of information that are not needed in the software. In addition, different file types, including csv or txt files, can be imported into the software.

Please contact SEAL Tech Support for more information about this process.
