SEAL's AA500 segmented flow analyzer was designed to allow users to perform complete automatic startup and shutdown. This allows you to start a run at the end of the day that will analyze your samples and collect your results - while you go home!
The shutdown can be programmed to close tray valves (saving the cadmium coil, if applicable), turn off the heating coils and lamps, and switch reagents over to wash solution. It will run wash solution for the specified amount of time and then life the platen off the tubes and stop the pump. This ensures the pump tubes are not pinched overnight - ready to run again the next day.
