CBC 2019 was the first IBC based building code in Chicago. The DOB is interested in practitioner input on how the 2019 code has performed, and proposed changes to the next edition. The SEAOI Building Code Committee has created this survey to compile your feedback. Prior to adoption, the current code will undergo a review process by the DOB and Working Groups, including a consideration of survey results received. Your responses to the survey will be shared with the DOB and will be anonymous.
