Picture Retake/Classroom Picture Day - 11/7

Retakes:

Kristen Calgaro does a wonderful job of ensuring she captures a great picture of your child the first time, but in the event you opt to have a "retake", please follow these directions:

  • The original picture packet must be returned on this day in full with a description of what you didn't like about the original photo.
  • If your student was absent on the initial picture day or you have received direct communication from Kristen Calgaro, they should have their photo taken this day (see next bullet about attire for the day).
  • This IS a uniform day, if a student chooses to wear a different shirt to school for their individual picture retake, they are allowed to do so, but they will need to also bring a uniform shirt to change into for the remainder of the school day.

Classroom/Group Photos:

  • There is no additional charge for the classroom photo, if you ordered a picture package, your child will receive a 5X7 of their class.
  • This IS a uniform day!
  • 8th graders - please wear your 8th grade sweatshirt.

Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids!

On Saturday Nov. 9th from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM the Knights of Columbus will be distributing free Coats For Kids in the SEAS gathering space.

Our goal is to provide warmth for children during cold winter months.  Families struggling to make ends meet use their scarce resources to meet the most basic needs and cannot always afford the vital essential of a new winter coat. We'll have boys and girls sizes from 12M through teen XL while supplies last. There is no cost.

We want to ensure that no child goes without a coat during the winter season. Contact Tony Jurgens at tjurgens3902@gmail.com or 651-592-0846 with questions.

November Saintly Service

This month, we honor St. Teresa of Calcutta.

She taught us to seek Christ in every person we encounter. She recognized that each human being is created uniquely and beautifully. Each person is the face of God, calling us to serve God by serving them.

How do we connect people to God through our hospitality in our schools? In Catholic schools, staff and volunteers are vital links in our community, connecting people to God through kindness and service. St. Teresa of Calcutta shows us selflessness and dedication to serving others, inspiring us all to see each person as a gift from God. As St. Teresa of Calcutta wisely said, "Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” This highlights how small acts of kindness can have a profound impact.
