Important Member Notice: Changes to Member Information



To help protect our members and safeguard personal information, SEBAR is implementing a new verification procedure for all requests to update member account information.

Due to the increasing number of scams, fraudulent requests, and attempts to gain unauthorized access to personal information, SEBAR staff will no longer process changes to member information based solely on an email request.

Effective immediately, requests to update member information must be completed in one of the following ways:

• In person at a SEBAR office, with appropriate identification; or
• By phone, with an additional method of identity verification required before any changes will be made.

This procedure applies to requests involving changes to contact information, including email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, and other member account information.

While we understand this additional verification may require an extra step, protecting our members and preventing unauthorized changes to member records is our priority.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to strengthen the security of member information.

Women’s Council of Realtors® Monroe-Wayne invites you to join them for Hot Properties & Hot Chili: A Blazing Good Time for Fire Prevention Month on October 22 at Newport Fireman’s Park!

This fun community event will combine great food, networking, education, and a little friendly competition.



Doors open at 5:00 PM for their chili cook-off, and their guest speaker, Captain Mike Crandall, will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. Captain Crandall is a 27-year veteran of the Hamtramck Fire Station and will be sharing important information about fire and radon safety in the home in recognition of October’s Fire Prevention Month.
