The new regulatory regime - building safety
Soon we'll see amendments to building regulations and a new regime for building safety. These changes will affect all stages of a building's life-cycle - from procurement to design to construction and into it's occupation.

To help you prepare to face the changes ahead we've teamed up with Mark London of Devonshires to deliver an exclusive session to our network.

We're hosting the seminar at Devonshires' London office on 3 September. It's free for all delegates, and we'll start with a short networking lunch from 12pm.
Business Development Training - 11 September
We've partnered with Campbell Tickell to design this brand new training course - A Model for Business Development. The day will help delegates to maximise current business streams and identify new ones in line with growth strategies.

Jon Slade will look at how organisations can evaluate a potential or actual opportunity - and best present that opportunity to Board.

The first session is on 11 September in Ebbsfleet, Kent. For more information, or to register, please follow the link below.
Re-ranked fire remedial works framework
We've recently noticed a number of changes in the price of fire doors. This is due to a variety of reasons arising from the way the testing regime for fire doors has developed. In order for us to always give our customers the best quality at competitive prices, SEC has asked framework contractors to re-price the affected rates.

This affects lots 1 and 4 of our Fire Remedial Works framework.

Substituting the revised rates and prices in place of the old ones has resulted in a re-ranking of the affected lots. Kier remain ranked number one, but the contractors below have shifted slightly. To view the changes click the link below.
Practical Contract Administration Training
In the current climate there is no doubt that public sector organisations will have to prioritise and manage their contracts in a much more effective way to ensure a high quality service and value for money.

In light of this SEC have specifically designed our Practical Contract Administration course to ensure delegates leave with solid, workable tips to confidently administer the contracts they are managing day-to-day.

We'll be holding the first session on 23 October in Ebbsfleet, Kent. To register, or for more information please click the link below.
We've announced even more big names to the line-up of speakers and exhibitors for this year's conference! Take a look and register via the link below...
