The purpose of this adaptation exchange was to help producers, Extension agents, and industry in the Southeast learn about new innovations to make agriculture more efficient, profitable, and resilient to climate risks; review current and projected climate for the region; and build a network of agricultural stakeholders.
The Southeast Climate Extension team--a USDA-NIFA project funded through the University of Florida and including Clemson, Auburn, University of Georgia, Florida State, and Florida A&M colleagues-- put on a day-long meeting featuring new technologies and information.
