A brand new dance year is almost here and we could not be more excited! Whether you spent your summer dancing with us, making memories on vacation, or simply enjoying some well-deserved downtime, we're thrilled to welcome you back for another incredible year at South East Dance Academy!

The Countdown Is On!

Classes begin the week of August 17th!

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 dance season is going strong, with many classes being filled over the summer. We've added and adjusted classes to accommodate as many dancers as possible, but space is still limited. All classes are first-come, first-served.

If you haven't registered yet, now is the perfect time! We can't wait to dance with both our returning families and all our new SEDA dancers this season.

Friendly Reminders

Gently Used Shoes- We have tons of shoes in our used shoe bins. Come in and find the perfect shoes for your dancer!! Don't forget to bring in your old ones. (Write your Name, size, and cost+$1 and place them in a Ziploc Bag)
Bring a Friend Program runs year-round. For every friend you bring that registers, you receive 1/2 off your next month's tuition. Bring two friends, get one month tuition free!!!
Check your mailbox when you come into the studio. This is how we get information to you.
Parents, PLEASE put your dancers' names in all dance shoes!! New shoes all look alike; therefore, they easily get lost. Every year our Lost and Found is overflowing.
Oleander Parking Lot- Please DO NOT park in the brick building's parking lot next door. That is not ours. Ours is the gravel parking lot behind the building. Access it from Mulberry Street. If you stay during your child's class, please park behind the building. There are plenty of marked spaces. This makes it easier for parents who are picking up and dropping off. Thank You.

The SEDA Booster Club would like to thank everyone that has supported the Performing Teams this past year. With your support in our Raffle Tickets, Papa Murphy's Pizza Night, Mum Sales, Riverfest Bows, Football Squares, Christmas Concert, June Concert, and Kendra Scott the Booster Club has been able to pay $9,653.00 in Competition Fees for our Performing Team Dancers.

Kids in the News

AVERLY JOHNSON attended the America's National Dance Championship in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and received fourth runner-up in the mini solo title division.

ELI RAPER joined Artist Simply Human (ASH) The Company, earning a full tour scholarship, four solo performance opportunities, and a showcase assistant role.

HADLEY DIAL attended the annual Revolution Costume Show event at the Dance Masters of America Convention.

JOEIDY SANTIAGO and OLIVIA PACKENHAM won 1st place in the competitive 12 & under duet category at the Dance Masters of America Nationals in Mashantucket, Connecticut.
