Frequently Asked Questions:


  • 1:00pm Performers should arrive at 12:30am
  • 3:00pm Performers should arrive at 2:30pm
  • Once you park there will be signs posted guiding you where to enter.
  • There will be signs for the Dressing Room and our Show Order throughout so you know where to go.
  • Each show will last about 45 minutes.
  • If you are are donating a gift, please bring it unwrapped. There will be an area in the lobby for you to drop off your gift or gift card.
  • We are not selling tickets. It's FREE to the Public. Feel free to invite your family and friends.
  • There will not be a videographer for our shows. You may video your dancer. All we ask is that you be courteous of those behind you so they can see the show as well.
  • If taking pictures - please no flash photography as that can be distracting to the dancers.
  • If your dancer is borrowing a costume and accessories for the show, please leave them on the rack in the Dressing Room before you leave.
  • You will need to check in your dancer at the check in table located in the hallway.
  • Escort your dancer to the dressing room.
  • Enjoy the show!
  • Your dancers will remain on stage after Finale for us to introduce a "Special Guest."
  • Our guest will be escorted to the lobby by faculty.
  • Staff will escort your dancer back to the dressing room.
  • Parents who escorted dancer to dressing room will meet them in the dressing room.
  • Change out of their SEDA costume and hang it on the rack provided in dressing room.
  • Check out dancer at the table in the hallway & receive your Christmas gift from SEDA!
  • Go visit Santa in lobby.

What to Wear for Dress Rehearsal & Concert


Monday & Tuesday AM & PM First Steps: "Sounds Of Christmas"

You Provide: Adorable Christmas Outfit with Pink Ballet Slippers for girls, black ballet slippers for boys – casual or dressy- Hairbows or Headbands are optional. Any color- any style. 

Dress them up and show them off!

 

Tuesday & Wednesday Age 2/3 Creative Movement:

"Milton The Dancing Christmas Mouse"                                            

You Provide: Pink tights and pink ballet slippers for girls, black ballet slippers, black socks, and black pants for boys. Cute Hair.

We Provide: Mouse Costume, ears, and tail.

 

Monday, Tuesday & Saturday Age 3/4 Ballet:

"Hark! The Herald Angels Sing"

You Provide: Pink tights and pink ballet shoes, and half up half down hair with a red hairbow for girls. Black ballet shoes, black socks, black pants, and white button down shirt for boys.

We Provide: Leotard and skirt for girls. Angel wings and halos for all.


Wednesday Age 3/4 Tap: "Jingle Bells"

You Provide: Tan tights and tan tap shoes, and half up half down hair with a red hairbow for girls. Black tap shoes, black socks, black pants and a white button down shirt for boys.

We Provide: Leotard and skirt for girls. Plaid vest for boys.


Tuesday & Wednesday Age 4/5 Tap: "Jingle Bell Rock"

You Provide: Tan tights, tan tap shoes, and half up half down hair with a red hairbow.

We Provide: Black leotard, Buffalo plaid skirts and Jingle Bells for their shoes.


Tuesday & Wednesday Hip Hop Cuties: "Drummer Boy"

You Provide: Black pants or leggings, black socks, all black sneakers, and Hair in a ponytail with a white hair bow.

We Provide: Candy Cane Shirts.


Monday K-1 Hip Hop & Grades 2-4 Hip Hop: "Jingle All The Way"

You Provide: Jeans, black socks, all black hip hop sneakers, and Hair in a ponytail with a white hairbow.

We Provide: Red Shirts and Necklace.


Wednesday K-1 Jazz: "Ring In The Season"

You Provide: Tan tights, Tan jazz shoes, and Hair in a ponytail.

We Provide: Red leotard, Skirts, and a Poinsettia for Hair.


Wednesday Grades 2-4 Jazz: "Drop Top Sleigh Ride"

You Provide: Black pants or leggings, Hair in a ponytail with a White hair bow.

We Provide: Green Shirts


Tuesday Grades 4-7 Ballet: "Winter Wonderland"

You Provide: Pink tights, pink ballet shoes, White hair bow (hair in a bun).

Tuesday Grades 8-12 Ballet: "Carol Of The Bells"

You Provide: Pink tights & Pink ballet shoes. Hair in a Bun.

Tuesday Grades 4-7 & Grades 8-12 Hip Hop: "Jingle Bellz"

You Provide: Jeans, black sneakers, Hair in a ponytail with a white hair bow.

Tuesday Adult Tap: "All I Want For Christmas is a Cowboy"

You Provide: Black tank top with Buffalo plaid shirt over top, Black pants, Black Socks and Black Tap Shoes.

Topaz Team Tap: "Barbie's Christmas"

You Provide: Black leggings, black tap shoes. Hair Half up, Half down. Team earrings. Team Makeup and Sweet Pink lipstick.

We Provide: Pink Shirts


Crystal Team Jazz: "Sleigh Ride"                       

You Provide: Tan tights, tan jazz shoes, Team earrings, necklace, Hair in ponytail, Red Hairbow and Red lipstick.

We Provide: Red sequin leotard with Bustle and Gloves.


Amethyst Lyrical: "Where Are You Christmas"

You Provide: Jade Green Lyrical Dress w/ Gold applique, tan stirrup tights, lyrical half sole, Team earrings and necklace. Team makeup and red lipstick. Hair middle part, low bun.


Emeralds Tap: "Sweet Silver Bells"

You Provide: Blue jeans, Black tap shoes, black socks. Hair low pony w/ middle part & rhinestoned hair tie. Team earrings & necklace. Team makeup & Red lipstick.

We Provide: White thermals.


Sapphire Jazz: "Platinum Bells"

You Provide: Girls: Tan stirup tights, tan half soles, team earrings, team necklace, hair in low pony with middle part, and red lipstick. Boy: Black Dress shirt, black pants, black socks, black jazz shoes, & red sparkly tie.

We Provide: Girls: Red Velvet Dresses

Our SEDA Christmas Charity this season is Toys for Tots. Donation is completely optional and not required for entry to the show- just simply our way of giving back to those children in need locally. Our Toys for Tots Box will be in our SEDA Lobby leading up to show day. Show Day you can find the box located in Topsail High School's Lobby.

Don't forget to stop in the Lobby at the Christmas Concert before the show!


The SEDA Booster Club will be selling Raffle Tickets for 3 Amazing Prizes!

Our Carolina Dance Masters Junior Member- Russell Stevens performed in CDM Banquet in November.


Congratulations to our Performing Team Members:

Olivia Packenham, Joeidy Santiago, Miller Chase, Poppy Frizzelle, Mia Raley, Camry Miller, and Eli Raper.

They all competed in the

Carolina Dance Masters Solo Title Competition in November.


Joeidy Santiago was 1st runner up in the

Petite Miss Dance division.

Teen Miss Dance division.
