The SEDC Trivia & Holiday Reception

was a wonderful evening, in spite of the weather!

Many Member/Stakeholders weathered the snow for a fun evening of Trivia and networking!

Thank you to the Holiday Inn, all who attended and all of our generous sponsors!

A big thank you to the Holiday Reception attendees who donated grocery store gift cards to be distributed to local food banks!

Because of your generosity SEDC was able to distribute over $300 in groceries to local food banks!

SEDC Staff has begun the First Friday Initiative!

Each month, SEDC Staff will be volunteering at various

Saratoga County nonprofits.

December found us at the CAPTAIN CHS's Holiday Toy Shop,

helping to set up the Shop for families in the community!

Franklin Community Center, CAPTAIN Community Human Services and Mechanicville Area Community Services Center in time for the Holidays.

SPAC Annual Meeting

Saratoga Bridges, A Chapter of the Arc, New York, was founded in 1953 by parents to create a rightful place in society for their children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Since their inception, they have grown to provide not only day services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, but housing, clinical care, art programs, support groups, and much more.

They remain a family-centered organization, with a majority of their board members being family members of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Currently they serve approximately 650 individuals and family members benefit from their services throughout the organization.

is a not for profit in Saratoga County that supports and empowers people of all ages to reach their goals of personal growth and self-sufficiency.
