SEDC Annual Meeting and Reception

SEDC is excited to announce that we have partnered with the

Albany Business Journal in a National Marketing Campaign to promote Saratoga County!

A series of articles will run in different areas of the country to encourage 21st Century Manufacturing Companies and their Supply Chain Vendors to consider expanding into Saratoga County.

Over the course of eight months, there will be six content articles produced covering a wide range of topics. This campaign supported, in part, by an $87,500.00 Economic Development Grant

provided by National Grid.

Wayne Samascott

Wayne Samascott grew up on Homes by Malta Development job sites, learning the craft of homebuilding firsthand under the guidance of his father and company founder, Tom Samascott. That early experience laid the foundation for a leadership style that blends traditional values with innovation and forward thinking.

Wayne currently serves on the Board of the Saratoga Builders Association and is also a past President of the organization. Known for his people-first mindset, he fosters collaboration among team members and trade partners to ensure every detail is executed with care.

Outside of work, he enjoys life at a slightly slower pace with his wife, Sarah, and their two kids — daughter Kenzie, a competitive soccer player, and son Logan, an avid golfer. Whether he’s cheering from the sidelines or walking the course, family time keeps everything in perspective.
