Welcome to the 2026 SEE Your Future Expo!

Dear RUSD Community Partners,

The Academies of Racine is excited to announce that

our eleventh annual SEE Your Future Expo will be held on Monday, November 2nd. The expo will be held at the Academies of Racine Park High School Fieldhouse.

At the SEE Your Future Expo, participating freshmen experience career-related, hands-on demonstrations and engaging activities in a broad variety of careers. This experience helps to forge a relevant link between what they are learning in school and what future career opportunities are available. The event will build a foundation for our Freshman Academy students and has a tremendous impact on our community.

Victor Frasher from Educators Credit Union shared, "Partnering with SEE Your Future to shape the future workforce is not just an opportunity; it's a responsibility. Together, we can inspire and guide the next generation toward fulfilling careers and brighter futures."

Jim Anderson from the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters said, "Partnering with SEE Your Future Expo gives local businesses a chance to plant the seed of relatability in young people when they are freshman and gives them the information of what kind of higher education it takes to go with that pathway and creates a pipeline to narrow the skills gap that exists in nearly all industries."

What is your role in the SEE You Future Expo?

For many RUSD students, this may be the first opportunity to explore career pathways and potential occupations. While many similar events focus on the products a business/organization delivers, the SEE Your Future Expo focuses on the people and practical skills that ensure products and services are delivered.

We invite you and your fellow business/organization colleagues to engage with our freshmen during the Expo to discuss your current occupation, the career path that led to your current role, and the skills and education applied to your work each day.

We encourage you to invite several representatives from your business that will help students understand the various roles and functions that are essential to successfully running a business/organization on a daily basis. To help students grasp this information, we encourage you and your colleagues to engage students in a hands-on activity that helps them understand what you do and how you do it.

Examples of hands-on activities will be shared during our SEE Your Future Expo Orientation webinar.

What career areas should you highlight?

We want to expose our students to the variety of careers that are in-demand in our area! Our Academies currently offer pathways in the following career clusters where we strive for industry representation, but we welcome any and all careers that your company wants to showcase.

  • Accounting
  • Aviation
  • Automotive
  • Biomedical Science
  • Business
  • Construction
  • Culinary Arts
  • Education
  • Engineering
  • Health Services
  • IT/ Computer Science
  • JROTC
  • Leadership
  • Marketing
  • Manufacturing/ Robotics

Your business/organization will have a table for each career area you choose to represent. This means, for example, that your business/organization may have tables representing different career areas (e.g., finance, IT, engineering).

What will the day look like?

Students will arrive at 8:30 AM. Groups of students will rotate between career areas until 1:00 PM. Students are encouraged to visit multiple booths to explore various careers of interest and they will have an activity to complete and help them engage. During student visits to your booth, we encourage you to discuss the following:

  • Introduction of you and your business/organization
  • Discuss the types of skills and experiences required for your current occupation
  • Discuss your own career path (e.g., did you go to college? Technical school?)
  • Discuss how you apply your skills and education to your current work (Small engaging, hands-on demonstration or activity)
  • Questions & answers

This information will be used by students to help them select an Academy and Pathway, as well as their high school courses and post-secondary plans.

Lunch will be provided for all employer participants.
