We need 2-3 runners/waiters/bussers. They will handle coffee and drinks too.

We need 1 person overseeing the set up and then 3 more people to set up tables, chairs, table cloths…decorating Tuesday set up in early afternoon..

After Mardi Gras, we will need bussing and a clean-up crew.

Making Sense of the Christian Faith

This Lent, Pastor Erik will be leading a two week intensive workshop on the basics of the Christian faith.  The classes will run each day from March 18-22, and through Holy Week, from March 25-30 with the last three classes taking the form of the Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday worship services.

This workshop is designed to be Baptismal Preparation, Confirmation class, a non-Christian’s exploration of Christianity, a part of your Lenten discipline, or just a time to look with new eyes at the faith you’ve had for a lifetime.

Please let Pastor Erik know if you are interested in this workshop and what times of day work best for you to attend the classes.

Annual Meeting Sunday

You will want to attend this important meeting to get the inside scoop on what is happening behind the scenes at Christ Trinity Church. We will also elect new Vestry Council members. A link to the Annual Report can be found below.

From Pastor Erik

Friends in Christ, I wanted to let you all know that Kelly has returned to treatment and both of us would appreciate your prayers in this challenging time for us both. We are so very thankful that we are part of this incredibly supportive community that is patient, kind, compassionate and understanding. Thank you!

Our dinosaur watches as the asteroid approaches

We are getting closer and closer to reaching our Warm Our Hearts goal of raising $24,000.. These funds will replace the critically endangered rectory boiler and replace the broken sanctuary air conditioner with a heat pump. The new heat pump will not only provide cooling in the summer but greatly reduce our reliance on our very old dinosaur of a furnace and the use of fossil fuel oil in the winter.

The campaign ends on Valentine's Day, a week from today. If you are someone who enjoys being in the parish hall or the church with heat in the winter or air conditioning in the summer, please consider making a gift. No donation is too small. There's a little wooden donation box in the parish hall or you may write a check, or click the button below.

Thank you to everyone who has given to Warm Our Hearts.

The greatest moral challenge

Join Jesus on his journey to Jerusalem

Feb 20, 10am online

Organized by the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts.

"As the world awakens to catastrophic threats to our climate and as authoritarian leaders threaten democracy, Lent invites us to join Jesus on his journey to Jerusalem. If we are to engage the greatest moral challenge humanity has ever faced, we need Jesus’ guidance.

This webinar will suggest ways in which our Lenten texts provide an opportunity to shape sermons that offer hope to our congregations, engage their imagination, and inspire them to take action for climate justice."

Speakers:

·        The Rev. Dr. Jim Antal, Special Advisor on Climate Justice to the General Minister and President, United Church of Christ

·        The Rev. Dr. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas, Missioner for Creation Care, Episcopal Diocese of Western MA & Southern New England Conference, United Church of Christ; Creation Care Advisor, Episcopal Diocese of MA
