Why attend Berkstock?

There are several reasons you should consider having lunch with us at Berkstock. This is not your grandmother’s church fair! Far from it! A food scientist and a highly-regarded retired New York City caterer have overseen our culinary offerings. And, the prices are extremely reasonable. Here is a small sampling:

  • A small bowl of Butternut Squash soup for $5
  • A large bowl of Cheddar Cheese Corn Chowder for $7
  • Padre Pollo’s Pulled Pork with Holy Smoke BBQ Sauce for $7
  • (add a side of macaroni & cheese for $4)
  • A one pound take-home box of Padre Pollo’s Pulled Pork for $20
  • Grilled Gruyere Cheese with caramelized onions for $6
  • Plain old-fashioned 1960’s-style Grilled American Cheese for $4
  • Roberto’s Pizza – brick oven baked right on site by Robbie, himself
  • A slice of homemade apple pie (made with apples picked locally) for $5
  • Big Elm Berkstock Beer for $7

While you are having lunch, you may enjoy listening to our great line-up of musicians. You will find the whole roster above in the poster - some incredible talent sharing their music with us. We can get a sneak peak of one of the bands by clicking on the link below.

The monies raised at Berkstock support our many outreach programs. Christ Trinity is involved with: supporting affordable housing, feeding the hungry both locally and worldwide, disaster relief, supporting our immigrant neighbors, recovery programs, and much more. If you would like to have a voice in where those monies are directed, come worship with us, and get involved in our Put Your Money Where Your Heart Is event.

New Bible Study begins on the Gospel of Luke

The Bible Study group will resume on Friday, October 4 at 1 pm in the Parish hall. We will start a study on the Gospel of Luke, which will be the Gospel we follow for the next liturgical year, starting in Advent. This study is from the Books of Faith series. For this first lesson we will read and discuss the first 2 chapters of Luke.

Please let Imelda Muller or the church office know if you plan to attend.

As always, - All are Welcome!

Wear your hippie clothes to Berkstock!

The excitement builds for our third annual Berkstock Food and Music Fest. Berkstock is a Corner of Kindness for our community! It's free music, wonderful food for purchase, and the opportunity for neighbors to just sit and enjoy it all together. It all happens on the lawn of Christ Trinity Church. We have changed up the menu! Old-time favorites such as Padre Pollo's Holy Smoke BBQ and Roberto's fabulous brick oven pizza will be offered along with homemade pies and cakes and our hometown-favorite Big Elm Beer! This year, Big Elm is brewing a very special Berkstock Beer! No word yet on whether it is a lager, ale, stout or wheat! You may just have to come to Berkstock to find out.

Wish Canon Rich Simpson Well

Wish Canon Rich Simpson Well on His Last Day at Diocesan House.

Rich has played a vital leadership role for our congregation. We are grateful for his skillful guidance and loving support as well as for the many trips he made from his home in Worcester, all the way to Sheffield, which is in the furthest southwestern corner of our diocese.

Please let the folks in Springfield know if you can attend.
