President's Message

Dear Friends of SEF,
San Gabriel Educational Foundation has grown tremendously over the last few years and still with the presence of the pandemic and continued budget cuts at public schools there will be an even greater need for SEF funding. Our opportunity for financial growth, however, is 100 percent correlated with the strength of our Volunteer Board.
Did you know that volunteering has many benefits? Not only does it improve your community, but it also increases your happiness, helps you develop new skills, advances your career and connects you with others! There are numerous volunteer opportunities available at SEF. Click HERE to find out more.
Please contact us if you are interested in serving on the Board and making a difference in San Gabriel public schools and impacting our student community.

From the 1st Annual Art Exhibition sponsorship opportunities to becoming a Champion of Education as part of our on-going Annual Fund Campaign, there are many ways to help SEF raise funds. Of course, all of the funds that SEF raises are used to support our students in our eight school sites! SEF's Virtual Art Exhibition! Dream. Imagine. Create.
Thanks to the support of many, including the City of San Gabriel, SEF has launched its first annual art exhibition! We could not be more proud of the impact the project will have in the community.
Registration is Open!
This is an open call to all students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 to participate in our 2021 virtual art exhibition. All qualifying entries will be featured in a virtual exhibition.
20 qualifying entries will be developed into street pole banners and hung within the Mission District in the City of San Gabriel.

SEF Is Offering a Free College Financial Aid Seminar!
 SEF is proud to partner with College Torch to bring a financial aid seminar to high school senior students!!
High school senior students and their parents or guardians are invited to join us for a FREE financial aid seminar designed to help students understand what you can expect when you review and compare your financial aid award packages to determine the amount of money you will need to pay for college.
Registration Deadline: Thursday, March 11 Seminar Date: Tuesday, March 16, 2021 (6:00pm - 7:00pm) Space is limited and space will be filled first come, first serve.
