About  Us
The Southeastern New England Defense Industry Alliance (SENEDIA) was formed to identify, champion and coordinate issues that contribute to our National security and provide benefit to our members, local communities, the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, and other Federal Government agencies.

SENEDIA's vision is to be a catalyst for thought leadership and technical innovation in undersea technology, cybersecurity and other critical defense technologies.  Our mission is to enable the development of the innovative technology, foster thought leadership, and facilitate required economic and workforce development.

SeaPerch Scrimmage Derby
May 10, 2019

SeaPerch i s an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).

By offering a broad range of STEM education and outreach programs, the Navy seeks to address the national crisis of decreasing college enrollments and careers in science and engineering. Through programs like SeaPerch, the goal is to engage and inspire young people by exposing them to exciting, hands-on, and mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, while at the same time fostering self-confidence and life skills.

A SeaPerch Scrimmage Derby is being planned for Friday, May 10.
If you are interested in participating in the event, or learning more about the SeaPerch teacher build PD training session happening in April, please contact
