REGISTRATION IS OPEN


We will hold Defense Innovation Days 2024, our three-day national convening bringing together of national security experts and policymakers with defense industry leaders developing innovative technology and the next-generation workforce on 26-28 August 2024 at the Newport Marriott. This will be the tenth annual convening.

SENEDIA Awarded Additional Funding to Expand the Defense Talent Pipeline with Real Jobs Rhode Island


RI Department of Labor and Training, through their Real Jobs RI program, awarded another year of effort under a five-year grant to support SENEDIA’s Defense Industry Partnership and our efforts to grow the defense industry workforce. SENEDIA’s program supports the workforce development of Defense industry companies and partners by connecting prospective employees—veterans and students—with internship or direct hire career opportunities. As part of our workforce development efforts to attract high quality talent to the defense industry, SENEDIA is participating in several upcoming career fairs at regional universities. For the Spring of 2024, our schedule includes events at the University of Rhode Island (URI), Brown University, Roger Williams University (RWU), Bryant University, the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, New England Institute of Technology (NEIT), and the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI).

RTX's Raytheon campus hosts

SENEDIA YPG


On Wednesday, 21 February, RTX hosted the SENEDIA Young Professionals Group to its Raytheon campus in Portsmouth, RI for a business showcase event. The event provided the group with an opportunity to learn about the great work being done by RTX accross the countr, a production facility tour highlighting the work that Raytheon Portsmouth facility manages, and a chance for YPG members to network and connect. Thank you to RTX for hosting this great event.

Epsilon Systems, headquartered in San Diego, CA, was founded in 1998 by U.S. Navy nuclear-qualified submariner Mr. Bryan B. Min, who continues as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) today. Under his leadership, the company has become a premier provider of government and commercial services and products. In 2017, Epsilon Systems transitioned to a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company, achieving year-over-year increased stock valuation. We maintain 15 offices, including six manufacturing/fabrication facilities, and have over 1100 employees. Epsilon Systems holds a Top-Secret Facility Clearance (FCL) with safeguarding. We have two major lines of business, the Technology and Technical Services (TTS) Group and the Mission Readiness Group (MRG).

 

What services and/or products does your company provide?

  • MRG manages and executes repair, maintenance and modernization for all classes of ships and submarines. We are qualified in accordance with NAVSEAINST 4855.34C to perform Submarine Safety (SUBSAFE) work on all classes of submarines under NAVSEANOTE 5000 and are a Designated Overhaul Point (DOP) for Submarine Corporate Component Repair Program (CCRP. We hold a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) for our Virginia location by NAVSEA in accordance with CNRMS INST 4280.1 to perform Complex Repair Work as a prime contractor on future major surface ship CNO Availabilities. We hold a NAVSEA Certified Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR), have a NAVSEA Approved Quality Management System which is ISO 9001:201 compliant, and are a NAVSEA Certified Alteration Installation Team (Tech Specification 9090-310 series). We have a NAVSEA Certified General Purpose Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE) facility. Epsilon Systems designs and manufacture diverse products for both commercial and military applications. Our military products meet rigorous operational and reliability standards. We have extensive design, assembly and testing capabilities of electrical, mechanical and electronic systems, including prototype design. Examples of our product design and assembly capabilities for aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for domestic and international aircraft, Rugged Flat Panel Displays (RFPD) for use in combat systems (land and subsurface), Rack Mounted Ruggedized Computer Equipment, and Custom Training Equipment, Hyperbaric and diver life-support system design, manufacture, installation, overhaul and repair.


  • TTS offers a diverse portfolio of Professional Services and Products. Epsilon C5I, Inc. is a team experienced engineers and intelligence professionals that provide software development, systems engineering, cyber security, and training solutions to support Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat systems, and Intelligence (C5I) systems. C5I is appraised for CMMI Level 3 for Software Development and is ISO 9001:2015 certified for life-cycle software development, which includes software engineering, test, design, configuration management and project management for both federal government and commercial clients. Epsilon C5I provides network installation and upgrade services to various government agencies. For custom learning solutions, the Epsilon XR division specializes in providing training, eLearning, virtual, augmented, and mixed reality learning, virtual simulations, curriculum development and instructor-led training. Our diverse group of customers includes defense, federal, corporate and industry partners.
