Successful PAA
“Celebrating Area Artists” Show Concludes
On August 20, a special celebration event was staged by the Plano Arts Coalition that featured performances and presentations by all the Plano arts organizations. PAA’s exhibit in the lobby (Gallery@Courtyard) represented 31 visual artists of Plano. Our guest book was filled with 50 signatures and Zip Code notations that helps us with our grant application. Thanks to all who took the time to support us by signing in.

People’s Choice Award
Eighty-five attendees at the event and throughout the exhibit voted for the “People’s Choice” award. The winner of the $150 cash award will be revealed at the Members’ Meeting on Tuesday, September 20. Don’t miss the meeting to congratulate the winner.

North Texas Giving Day
is September 22.
Find Your Passion. Give With Purpose.

Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) aims to put giving to work, to amplify generosity, to focus passion, to seed impact and to harvest the results year after year. When we invest in each other, we nourish the best in our cities, our neighbors, and our communities; where giving thrives, communities thrive, too.

Plano Art Association is a non-profit organization registered with the Communities Foundation of Texas, North Texas Giving Day – scheduled for September 22 this year. However, our link is now open so you can donate at any time.

PAA members have always been generous in supporting our organization on North Texas Giving Day. As president, I ask that each member give what she or he can to support our organization. I challenge all who can to consider a $50.00 contribution to PAA during North Texas Giving Day.

I know this is a stretch, times being what they are, but these are the donations that underwrite and guarantee our “bottom line” – making it possible for PAA to provide the on-going support, education, interaction, and exhibit opportunities that make up our annual schedule. PAA is a community where we share knowledge, talent, and enthusiasm.

PAA members have always been generous in supporting our organization on North Texas Giving Day. Please join me in taking up a share of the expense as well. Please give what you can to keep our Association viable. - Gaby Pruitt

Amazon Smile
Did you know you can give money to the PAA just by using Amazon Smile. Instead of using the general Amazon website, sign on the Amazon Smile. Designate Plano Art Association as your charity and any purchases you make will have a small percentage of the Amazon profit go to the PAA instead. It is an easy way to give money, and you pay the same price for the items on Amazon Smile as you would for the regular Amazon. Just think if all of our members (and maybe their family and friends) would do this as a habit. It would really help our budget.
