Request a Full-Sized Poster: Youth Vote Idaho

Posters are now available for free via download or in print by request from the Youth Vote Idaho project, a joint effort between Idaho Public Television, the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office, and the Department of Education. The poster's QR code takes students age 18 by election day to the Idaho Secretary of State’s voter registration page.

New Materials, Webinars for Teaching Civics

Join PBS LearningMedia, GBH, and the National Council for the Social Studies on September 12 for a live virtual webinar on the FREE interactive classroom resources in the brand-new national Civics Collection, materials created with the guidance of more than 20 educator advisors, 12 youth advisors, and a diverse group of prominent civics experts from a wide range of institutions across the U.S.

New High School Science Resource

This new high school lesson plan created by Idaho classroom teacher Lindley Ballen guides students to explore their own connection with nature through field observation, discussion, and creativity.

Elementary School

Each month, Science Trek looks at a different topic, with short videos available on the free PBS App. Find facts, games, links, a podcast, books, and teacher resources aligned to Idaho and national science standards at ScienceTrek.org.

And check out the Science Trek Podcast, hosted by Idaho elementary school students Evie and Garrett. On each episode, scientists answer kids' burning science questions.

IdahoPTV Education is now an IdahoSTARS trainer, adding 19 brand-new free trainings to the IdahoSTARS course catalog for Pre-K-Grade 2 teachers. We are also working on K-12 teacher certification courses for next year.
