Everything we do or make carries with it energy. When we practice, we can shift the energy of our yoga practice from that of a routine or a chore, to that which is filled with loving intention.  The types of poses, or style of class does not matter, its how you practice that matters. It is all about the intent behind every movement and every breath.  

Take a simple pose, one you know well, and may consider "routine"....and then add a dash of love. Focus on your spine, focus on your heart, focus on your breath, have a sense of compassion for all that your body has experienced.  Feel the effects of self-love in every movement.  How does the pose change? How do you change?  Just notice.

This same idea can then taken off of the mat into the tasks of our everyday life.  Small acts done with love can have big effects on the self, the soul and on those who are on the receiving end of these loving acts.

You can bring love to anything you do.  Big or small.  In the words of the author, Melody Beattie

"There is honor in all work, in all tasks, but take it one step further.  Make what you do a labor of love.  Then your work will truly touch and change the world in the way you desire.  The work you do, whatever your chosen field, will be work that heals."

Description:  Crystal bowl sound is a form of vibrational medicine that validates everything in the universe is in a state of vibration. When we include forms of visual light to the mix, the body, mind and spirit begin to naturally realign. Feelings of being rested and peace occur. Join us for this wonderful gathering as we merge into the light, sound and ascension of higher vibrations and consciousness.  Please bring a mat to lie on, water and an eye pillow if desired. Wear loose comfortable clothing. Bring a notebook or journal to record any thoughts or feelings that may arise.  Cost:  $20

Join Christa for this special 2-hour Vinyasa class focused on detoxing the body, mind and spirit through thoughtful asana. Build strength and release tension, while always honoring your own level of practice with compassion.  This class is for those of you who want to try, or already love, the feeling of a warm, core focused Vinyasa flow, which leaves you cleansed and ready to move into a new season.

Learn to Fly with Valerie
A 2-part series focused on safely moving and strengthening towards arm balancing...
join us for one or both!

*Saturday, September 6 (1:00 - 3:00 PM)
*Saturday, October 4 (1:00 - 3:00 PM)

Instructor:  Valerie Skillman, 500RYT

Learn key alignment fundamentals for safe arm balancing.  When taught in the proper sequence, there is no need to "muscle" your way through any arm balancing pose!  Arm balances use focused technique and core foundation, so that the body will lift itself when ready.   So, learn to fly on your mat and feel the effects of flight as you find your untapped power! 

Some yoga experience required for this series. You can attend one or both; however, second class will build on first.

For Monthly Pass Class members --- $20 each session
For all other students --- $30 each session
*$5 discount on 2nd class if you take both in series!!
