Have you registered for the SERMA Conference yet? It’s scheduled for Thursday,
May 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Boumi Shriners Temple, 5050 King Avenue, Baltimore MD 21237.
This will be a live, in-person event again this year. There will be plenty of parking and lunch will be provided. Be sure to join us for some free professional development and to reconnect with your friends and colleagues throughout the State.
We are planning an exciting program for you this year. Among the presenters at this year's Conference are:
- Matthew Helminiak, Commissioner of Labor and Industry, Maryland Dept. of Labor
- Dave G. Madaras, CSP, CHST, President, Chesapeake Region Safety Council
- Christopher Gardner, RN, BSN, WCCM, CCM, WCP, Senior Precertification and Pain Management Nurse, Chesapeake Employers Insurance Company
- Diane Smith, RN, BSN, WCCM, Nurse Case Manager, Chesapeake Employers Insurance Company
And of course we will host our popular awards presentation, complete with photos of winning individuals and teams, at the conclusion of the day.
For those who may still be uncomfortable with a live, in-person event, we will have certain social distancing measures in place. Face masks will be optional and you will be able to indicate your social distancing preference by way of a color-coded ribbon on your name tag (see graphic below).
