SINGARA BADMINTON PREMIER LEAGUE 2019

ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ   Singara Badminton is back and  Kannada Sangha (Singapore)  is pleased to announce " Singara Badminton Premier League - 2019 " tournament.   The Tournament is formatted to make it more interesting, surprising, challenging and to ensure more matches for each of the participants.  Team selection will be formed after ranking the players based on pre-tournament assessment match performance which will be assessed by independent / external experts.   Register only if you are  committed to participate on all the days  and complete the tournament,   including the pre-tournament assessment exercise . Participation in the pre-tournament assessment exercise is mandatory for all registrants. Pre-tournament assessment will be conducted at Senja-Cashew Community Club101 Bukit Panjang Rd, Singapore 679910 By registering, the participant agrees that any injury and beyond while participating in the Tournament is at his / her own risk and it is the individual's responsibility to be covered under suitable insurance. PRE-REQUISITE "Singara Badminton Premier League - 2019" tournament is open to Kannada Sangha (Singapore) members and their immediate family members only. Participants born on or before 31-July-2002 qualify to participate in the Adult category. Participants born on or after 1-Aug-2002 and Before 31-July-2009 qualify to participate in the Youth category. Membership Number is required for registration. Sangha Membership is annual (from 01-Jan to 31-Dec) for Ordinary Members. All non-members must renew / take-up membership for year 2019, prior to registering for the tournament. Membership can be renewed online via http://singara.org/Member/Membership REGISTRATION Registration is on first come first served basis and will close on 4-July-2019 or when maximum number of registrants is reached. Please note that the number of participants is limited to 40 for Adult category and 20 for Youth category. Kindly register only if you are committed to participate on all the days.  Registration is confirmed only upon payment of the required registration fee through Paylah/PayNow. Rules of the Tournament "Singara Badminton Premier League - 2019" is a group event. Each team will have a defined number of players and a team leader. The Tournament committee will decide on the number of teams.  The team will be formed after ranking the players based on pre-tournament assessment which will be assessed by independent & external experts. For Qualifying round: The tournament will follow the 15 points rules and participants are required to play 3 sets in a match (Best of 3). The Team which scores 15 points first wins the set. For Semi Final & Final Match: Follow the 21 points rules and participants are required to play 3 sets in a match (Best of 3). Qualification round will be on round robin basis for both Adult & Youth teams.  Top four teams will clash in the semi-finals for the coveted Singara Badminton Cup. If a member plays on day one and cannot continue further for a reason other than medical/compassionate grounds, teams might not get a replacement and will lose points. (Consider it as the team's luck!!) No cancellation or change of player will be allowed once the teams are formed. If one is not able to make it, then a walkover will be given to opponent team, which affects the team's performance.

Since this is a group event, you are requested to check your availability on the tournament days before registering for the event. THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE RESERVES ALL THE RIGHTS TO TAKE THE FINAL DECISION ON THE TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND THE RULES DEPENDING ON THE ENTRIES RECEIVED
