Welcome to Summer Of '25!

Summer is near...join us and your fellow art lovers for a welcome relaunch of quality Art Journalism, and SFADA Member gallery exhibitions all over the Bay Area!

Continue to refer to this email for a comprehensive list of the many great shows and opening events taking place over the next couple of months.

SquareCylinder Relaunch Celebration

All of us here at SFADA are thrilled to be a part of the relaunch of SquareCylinder, your online home for quality art journalism. SFADA is a proud sponsor, and we congratulate art publishers, editors and writers Bill Lasarow, DeWitt Cheng and Mark Van Proyen as they grow the rich legacy of SquareCylinder into the future.

On Saturday, June 7, SquareCylinder will proclaim the rise of a New Era of art, culture, and particularly art journalism in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. A month following its April 26th relaunch, SquareCylinder and the Minnesota Street Project invites the public to join us, along with the 14 art galleries that call Dogpatch home (the much anticipated new di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art will open its MSP space in August), to proclaim the Bay Area as the place to be if you are a creative artist or writer asking “where is the best place in America to be if I want to exercise my rights and talents to free expression and free speech?” And to make that our cause.

Why do you have to translate and decode things?

Just let the image be.

It will have a special kind of reality that it won't once it's decoded.

We look forward to seeing you in the galleries!
