Happy New Year!

It is with deep gratitude that we wish you a Happy New Year and "Thank You!" for your cards, baked goods, chocolates, gifts and well wishes this holiday season. We are truly grateful to have each and every one of you in our chiropractic family.


For some of you, this season was difficult. Some lost family members. Some lost jobs. Some lost friends. Know that we are always here for you and support you in the good times as well as the not so good times.


Chiropractic is also here to support you during your every day stresses. Whether you are bent over looking for the puzzle pieces, moving totes in the garage so you can make room for your car, whether you are snowboarding, or travelling and sleeping on different beds and pillows, Chiropractic is vital to the optimal functioning of every tissue, organ and system in your body. Getting adjusted improves your life, every time, regardless of your aches, pains or lack thereof.


January is a great time of year to refocus and set some goals. Taking care of yourself is important to you and your family. Stop by and bring your loved ones. You are worth it!

There is no process that does not require time

Our lives are determined by our habits. Our habits are the daily and weekly activities we do over time. Our habits shape our lives over years of repetition. In order to change the quality of our lives, we must change the process of our habits and sustain them through time.


When people become members of our practice, they begin the powerful process of making chiropractic a weekly habit. Through this habit, over years (time), their bodies live less with vertebral subluxations and manifest a fuller expression of life. The importance of this habit cannot be overemphasized. We cannot predict how the body will function better, but logic tells us that the body will be stronger in every way with chiropractic as a weekly habit (process) over time.This makes chiropractic a powerful investment with literally no downside.


The quality of our lives is the result of every choice we have made, Our choices become habits and habits make the life we lead.

SMART Goals

As we begin a new year, many of us choose to set goals for improving some aspect of our lives. 


But, if you ask most people what is their one major objective in life, they would probably give you a vague answer, such as, "I want to be successful, be happy, make a good living," and that is it. They are all wishes and none of them are clear goals.


Goals must be SMART:


1. S - specific. For example, "I want to lose weight." This is wishful thinking. It becomes a goal when I pin myself down to "I will lose 10 pounds in 90 days."


2. M - must be measurable. If we cannot measure it, we cannot accomplish it. Measurement is a way of monitoring our progress.


3. A - must be achievable. Achievable means that it should be out of reach enough to be challenging but it should not be out of sight, otherwise it becomes disheartening.


4. R - realistic. A person who wants to lose 50 pounds in~30 days is being unrealistic.


5. T - time-bound. There should be a starting date and a finishing date.


The Simple Truth: Why Everyone - Yes, Everyone Needs a Chiropractor

Perhaps you already feel good. Maybe you have just overcome a health challenge or are experiencing a problem now and are looking to see what chiropractic can do.


You probably know that chiropractic has something to do with the spine. You may even know that when you lose normal alignment and function in the spine, it causes you to partially lose the proper neurological connection between your brain and body. This then causes the loss of the normal flow of Life Energy in the body and a loss in the ability to purposefully organize your body, which results in losing your natural state of health.

 

Everyday stresses that we are ALL exposed to, that overwhelms the body's resistance, can cause this to occur regularly and in everyone. The scary part is that you rarely ever feel this happen.


If you're like most people you have been programmed throughout your life that whenever you go to any kind of doctor, you are there to have something "fixed" so that some illness or pain goes away or is prevented from coming in the first place. In other words, you go to the doctor so that something WON'T happen; to experience LESS of something.


But at this office, chiropractic is actually the complete opposite of this! The whole reason for getting adjusted and keeping your neurological connection clear is so that something WILL happen - a more complete expression of health and life! In other words, you go to the chiropractor to experience MORE of something!


When you have a clear neurological CONNECTION, you can more correctly comprehend and respond to everything in both your internal and external environments, and you are more likely to continue your path to whatever you are meant to be in this life.


The truth is that I restore the CONNECTION between you and your body, and then your intelligent and organizing Life Energy makes any necessary corrections. I like to say, "I connect you, your innate intelligence (life energy) corrects you!" Now, here are some simple truths you need to know.


1. EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS CHANGING, EVEN YOU!

    Here's how...


2. YOUR BODY IS ALWAYS EITHER GETTING STRONGER (HEALTHIER) OR IT IS GETTING WEAKER (SICKER).

What's really cool about this is that most of the time YOU get to decide if you will get stronger or weaker!


3. THE STRENGTH (HEALTH) OF YOUR BODY AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT IS DETERMINED BY HOW FULLY YOU ARE EXPRESSING YOUR LIFE ENERGY.

Maximal expression of your Life Energy brings health and so much more. Health is really the 1st goal you have, not the end goal.


4. IF YOU WANT TO HELP YOUR BODY KEEP GETTING STRONGER AND HEALTHIER ALL THE TIME, YOU NEED TO DO THREE THINGS;

a) Have a Deliberate and Positive Focus. In other words, think about good things and be happy.

b) Make Healthy Lifestyle Choices. Yes, in the areas you already know about, like exercise, rest, proper nutrition, etc.

c) Maintain a Clear Neurological Connection!


Here's why these three things make you stronger. Everything works better when you are happy! Thinking about good things makes your body stronger all the time by producing good healing biochemistry. Making healthy choices helps your body get everything it needs to keep getting stronger all the time too! And, a clear neurological connection is what helps you keep thinking good things, it helps you use all the good things you get from your healthy choices and it is what really keeps you getting stronger all the time!


When you get checked and adjusted by your chiropractor you are making sure your Life Energy is free to do its job so that you can keep getting stronger, healthier, and happier all the time!


That's it - it's so incredibly simple! Understanding these simple ideas provides you with just about everything you need to know! You learn that everything is always in the process of changing - including your body, and that you have the power to make good choices and direct your own health and life. But most important of all, you learn that having a clear neurological connection allows your body to work its best so that you can experience MORE from life.


Just so you know what you can look forward to ... (and while results may vary from person to person) ... the most common benefits of regular chiropractic care are: More Energy; Improved Health; Clearer Thinking, Concentration, and Memory; Better Ability to Handle Stress; Improved Physical Performance; Better Sleep; Greater Value From Exercise and your Nutritional Choices; More Balanced Body Chemistry; Increased Income Earning Capacity; Improved Relationships; Better Digestion; ... basically a Greater Enjoyment of Life!


So as you can see, everyone needs and can benefit from regular chiropractic care. After all, who doesn't need or wouldn't want all these benefits?
