Chief Gibson Celebrates 50 Years of Service

On April 30, 2022, the Tatum Volunteer Fire Department honored Fire Chief Rayford Gibson with a reception celebrating his 50 years in the fire service. Chief Gibson has contributed greatly to not only the Tatum Fire Department, but also serves the Rusk County Firefighters Association, Northeast Texas Firefighters Association, and is currently the SFFMA Parliamentarian.
Congratulations Chief Gibson.

Thank you for your service!
New SFFMA Membership Administrator
Please help us welcome Edward Palacio to the SFFMA team as our new Membership Administrator and International Liaison. He comes to us from a 20-year career with the Sheriffs' Association of Texas where he worked in Membership. Edward lives in San Marcos and has two daughters: one who will attend college this year on a softball scholarship, and one who is a sophomore in high school and is involved in competitive cheerleading.

Edward will be with us at conference this year, so please say "hello" when you get a chance! If you'd like to contact him, please do so via email here. Teresa Junkin will still be a point of contact in Membership as well, so please don't hesitate to contact either one of them for assistance.
