SFLHCC President Attends Supreme Twins Foundation Gala | |
SFLHCC President Liliam M. Lopez, Dr. (h.c.), was honored to attend the 2nd Annual Supreme Twins Foundation Gala and Fashion Showcase at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. The event brought together nearly 400 business, civic, and philanthropic leaders in support of children and young adults with disabilities and their families.
Founded by Ilieva and Miguel Valdés, the Supreme Twins Foundation was inspired by their personal journey raising their twin daughters, Nathaly and Nicolee, who live with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). The Foundation works to provide therapy, education, family support, vocational opportunities, and resources that help individuals with disabilities develop essential life skills and achieve greater independence.
| |
Proceeds from this year's gala support several of the Foundation's core initiatives, including its Psychological Assessment Program (PAP), which assists families in accessing essential psychological assessments and resources; Artistic Expression programs, which provide opportunities through art and music; and Special Continuing Education initiatives designed to help neurodivergent youth develop educational, vocational, and independent-living skills. Funding also supports partnerships such as Miami Dade College's ACCESS Program and EmpowerU Summer Camp, expanding educational and developmental opportunities for young people as they transition into adulthood.
Lily extends her sincere appreciation to Ilieva Valdés, Co-Founder and Chair of the Supreme Twins Foundation, for the kind invitation and for the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful evening. SFLHCC applauds the Foundation for its continued commitment to creating a more inclusive community and providing families with the resources,
