Per the guidance found in SP 25-2020, CACFP 14-2020, SFSP 14-2020, School Food Authorities (SFAs) may claim National School Lunch Program (NSLP) meals served in the beginning of the school year, under the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)/Seamless Summer Option (SSO). Furthermore, only claims within the 60 day claiming window may be processed.

In order to claim meals under the SFSP within CNPWeb:

  • SFAs that intend to claim meals served during the month of July under the SFSP must have an approved SFSP CNPWeb application and submit their claim no later than September 30, 2020.
  • SFAs that intend to claim meals served during the month of August under the SFSP must have an approved SFSP CNPWeb application and submit their claim no later than October 30, 2020.
  • SFSP meals served during the month of September must be claimed in CNPWeb no later than November 29, 2020.
