SFWMD Governing Board Meeting and Budget Hearings Scheduled
Regular monthly meeting to be held Sept. 21. Budget hearings to be held Sept. 21 and Sept. 26

West Palm Beach, FL - The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) Governing Board will hold its regular monthly  business meeting Thursday, Sept. 21, starting at 9 a.m. The meeting will be held at District Headquarters, 3301 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, FL, 33406. The meeting originally scheduled on Sept. 14 was postponed due to the impacts of Hurricane Irma on South Florida.
 
The Governing Board will also hold two tentative millage & budget public hearings to officially adopt its 2017-2018 budgets and tax rates for the 16 counties served by SFWMD, including the Big Cypress Basin budget and tax rate for Collier County.
 
The first budget hearing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 5:15 p.m. at District Headquarters. The second hearing for final adoption of the budget will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 5:15 p.m. at District Headquarters.

All meetings will be webcast on SFWMD's website, www.sfwmd.gov.
