SFWMD Has Temporarily Closed Public Access on L-6 Levee

The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) has temporarily closed public access to the L-6 levee at the G-336G structure, a point commonly known as "Sportsman's Crossing" in western Palm Beach County, starting today, May 31, due to high water concerns from recent heavy rainfall.
Sportsman's Crossing, which provides public access to the western side of Water Conservation Area 2A, will be closed until further notice.
Water Conservation Area 2A itself is still open for public recreation. For more information on accessing the conservation area and what public recreation is allowed in the Water Conservation Areas 2 and 3 visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's website by clicking here.
